This large pedestrian street is located from the base of the Castle Hill to the edge of the Opera House. Formerly a festive center of social life and the main venue for the Nice carnival in the second half of the 19th century, it is one of the most popular places on the French Riviera!

Since 1990, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nice displays more than 1,400 works of art dating from the 1950s to the present day and hosts about a hundred events each year (conferences, concerts, performances, etc.).

One of Nice's best-known specialities, this is a galette made from chickpea flour, and naturally gluten-free!
